Standards, Inspections and Appeals Section

The Standards and Inspections section will be responsible for setting standards, formulating guidelines on human resources management and monitoring the use of delegated human resource management functions to ensure consistence in the management and development of Human resources in the Teaching Service.

In order to effectively execute its role, the section will perform the following specific functions:

  1. Establishing standards and guidelines on human resource management for the Teaching Service in order to ensure consistency in the management of human resource;
  2. Monitoring and evaluating the use of delegated powers by Responsible Officer;
  3. Monitoring and controlling the establishment and payroll for the entire Teaching Service in order to keep the size of the Service in check; and
  4. Sensitization of the Teaching Service staff on the operations of the Teaching Service Commission in order to enlighten Teaching Service employees.
